The Coffaro children grew up with aspirations of entrepreneurship, inspired by their grandfather Pete, an Italian immigrant who laid the foundations of perseverance and success, and their father Jim, who balanced hard work with the joys of family life. In 2004, Jim and his eldest son, Adam, seized the opportunity to start RoadBoardz Graphics in Cincinnati with a small but determined team. Their journey of growth and learning in the industry led them to acquire Crux, a well-established competitor since 1991, in 2010. This pivotal moment marked the birth of Crux Roadboardz Graphics and a new chapter in Hebron, Kentucky.

As the business expanded, so did the family’s involvement, with Adam’s siblings, Christa and Jimmy, joining the team, further cementing the company’s identity as a family-owned business.
